Check-in

What time is check-in?

Site & Cabin Check IN – 3:00 PM, Site Check OUT – 1:00 PM, Cabin Check OUT – 11AM. Early check in or late check out may be available.  Please ask.

Can I check in early and/or stay late? Is there a fee?

Please call.  If no one is in your spot, we may allow you to come early.  We currently do not have a fee as long as you have called and come after noon.  If you would like to stay after check out, please ask – we will see if we can accommodate your request.

What is the procedure if I arrive after office hours?

We will place your check-in information on the door of the office.

Do I need a sticker and/or tag on my car?

Currently, no.

Cabins

What time can we check into our cabin?

What do we have to bring when staying in a cabin?

If you are staying in the Deluxe Cabin – you will need clothing and food.  If you are staying in the Log Cabin – you will need towels, clothing and food.  A way to cook if it is beyond microwave and chairs for around the fire.  If you are staying in the Rustic Cabin, you will need towels, clothing and food.  A way to cook if it is beyond microwave and chairs for around the fire.

How many people can we have in a cabin?

The Deluxe Cabin holds 6 people (it may be possible to add additional small children).  The Log Cabin holds 6 people.  The Rustic Cabin holds 2 people.

Reservations

When do you start taking reservations for the following season?

If you are at the campground, you may reserve for the same weekend next year in the office.  On-line you can reserve that weekend – the following weekend.

What do you require at time of reservation?

We require one night’s stay including taxes to hold the reservation.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you notify us of a cancellation 7 days or more prior to arrival, you shall be refunded your deposit minus a $15 cancellation fee.  If notice is given less than 7 days prior, no refund shall be given, but in some cases it may be applied toward a future reservation.

The weekend I want to come camp is showing no openings on the website, what do I do?

We offer a waiting list on-line.  You will be notified if an opening becomes available.

Do you have any full hook-up sites?

Yes, all of our sites are full hook-ups.

Do you have any pull through sites?

Yes, we currently use E, F, G & H as pull through sites.

Camping

Can I bring my dog?

Absolutely!  All dog breeds are welcome as long as they are well behaved, non threatening dogs. Please make sure that excessive barking is not allowed. The dog must be on a leash and cleaned up after at all times. There are two dog waste receptacles on the property. Please do not leave the dog(s) unattended unless in your camping unit. Dogs are not allowed on the beach at the pond or in the water. Any dogs not following the rules may be asked to leave.

When is quiet time?

Quiet time is 10:00pm – 7:00am

What is the speed limit at the park?

The speed limit is 5 MPH.  You must drive slowly at the park.

Can I leave my trailer on-site the night before/after my reservation?

Please call – we may be able to extend your reservation and/or make other arrangements.

How many people are allowed to stay on my site?

The amount of people that you have registered in your reservation.  Typically, each campsite includes 2 adults and unmarried children. $5.00 per night per extra adult with a maximum of four adults total.

How many vehicles are allowed on my site?

Two vehicles.  If your allotted vehicles do not fit on your driveway, please let us know and we will show you where to park.

Can I purchase day passes to the Park if I am not camping with you?

No, our insurance does not currently let us offer day passes for the park.  You must be a registered camper or a registered visitor to a registered camper.

Can I have visitors while I am staying at the campground?

Guests are welcome at the campground, however, they must register at the Watering Hole and there is a fee.  $5 per adult visitor with a limit of 4 adults and kids are free.

Do you allow golf carts?

No, we do not allow golf carts unless it is for a medical reason or it is trail approved and you plan to use it on the trails.

Do you allow ATV/UTVs?

Yes, however, we do not allow you to ride around the campground.  You may go from your site out of the park to the trails.  We also have designated spots for your trailer.  Please ask at check-in.

Can I have a kiddy pool at the site?

No, I am sorry but we do not allow kiddy pools.

Can I have a barn fan at my site?

Yes, but there is a $5 fee for the weekend (two nights).

Can I charge my electric car at your campground?

No, I am sorry but our current infrastructure does not allow for EV charging.

Is there a fee to use the campground bikes?

No, the campground bikes are free to use.  We ask that you please return them when you are through using them.

Can I put an additional tent on my site with my camper?

This can only be done for kids included in your party.  If the tent is not for your kids and all other sites are full, you may inquire about adding a tent to your site for a fee.

Do you sell firewood?

Yes, it is available for $10 a wheelbarrow.  Please order in the office and it will delivered to you.

Can I smoke in your buildings?

No, there is no smoking in any building.  Please be courteous of your fellow campers at the beach and the parks.  Please pick up your cigarette butts.

Utilities

Are water, electricity and sewer available at the sites?

Yes, all sites have water, electricity and sewer.

What do I do with my garbage and recycling?

A recycling bin is provided for you on your site.  We recycle cans, plastic, cardboard/paper and glass.  Please leave the bin and your garbage at the end of your driveway when it needs to be emptied and/or at the end of your stay. Any non-household garbage (camper parts, furniture, etc) must be taken with you.

Pond

What are the pond hours?

From sunup to sunset.

Am I allowed to come swim if I am not camping?

No, our insurance does not allow swimming unless you are a registered camper.

Do you have a lifeguard?

No, it is swim at your own risk.  You must supervise your children.

How deep is your pond?

The pond is cone-ish in shape.  After the dock and along the sides, it drops off kind of quickly.  It is about 10ft deep in the center.

How is the pond maintained?

We use natural enzymes and aeration to maintain the pond.

Can I bring my own floaties to use in the pond?

Yes, as long as it is of average size, you may bring your own floaties.  We ask that you please make sure they are washed off so that you are not introducing anything into the pond.
